About Tango Frostbite
Tango Frostbite is an annual Argentine tango festival held in Helsinki, Finland, taking place in February, the coldest month of the year. It is known for attracting tango enthusiasts from around the world to enjoy a mix of social dancing, workshops, and performances by internationally renowned tango maestros. The festival focuses on embracing the warmth of tango dancing despite the cold, frosty weather, which gives the event its unique name.

Workshops: Participants can attend classes at different levels of Argentine tango, vals and milonga.

Milongas: Social dance events are held at daytime, in the evenings, as well as the famous after parties late at night, providing an opportunity for dancers to enjoy tango music and socialize for most of their waking hours.

Performances: The festival highlights live performances by world-renowned tango dancers and orchestras.

DJs: The music in festival milongas is selected by established international and local DJs playing songs in the traditional style of Argentine tango.
Tango Frostbite is popular for its welcoming atmosphere and its ability to combine the intensity of Argentine tango with the serene, wintry environment of Helsinki, offering an unforgettable experience for tango lovers. The festival is organized by the Amigos del Tango association.
