Born in Rosario, Argentina, Dario Da Silva discovered tango at the age of 14 and began his professional career a few years later. Dancer, choreographer, and bandoneon player, he has performed in Argentina, the United States, and across Europe at prestigious festivals such as Tarbes en Tango, the Sitges Festival, the Mallorca Tango Festival, the Boston Tango Festival, and the NYC Tango Festival, among many others.

Most of his career has flourished in partnership with Claire Vivo, with whom he has built a strong artistic connection and a teaching approach recognized internationally. He has also shared the stage with renowned dancers such as Verónica Palacios, Sigrid Van Tilbeurgh, Antonella Terrazas, Moira Castellano, Sylvia Gerbi, Chantal Fernandez Crea, and Andrea Ballesteros, among others.

Blending tradition and creativity, Dario offers a vision of tango that is deeply musical and expressive. A recognized tango master known for his clear, dynamic, and connection-centered pedagogy, he conveys his passion with authentic and generous energy.

Tango Frostbite 2026 will be Dario's first visit in Helsinki. He will be teaching and performing together with the amazing Roxana Suárez.
